Our History
In June 2002, we became the first concierge medical practice in the state of Virginia. We are committed to providing exceptional medial care in an unhurried office with a happy, helpful staff. Our goal is to make your experience pleasant and stress free.

The simple, straightforward way
of practicing medicine:
- No co-pays or additional fees outside of
your monthly rate.
- Same day appointments.
We will see you when you need to be seen. We maintain open slots each day for emergencies and we can take care of minor problems by telephone.
Comprehensive Annual Physical
Includes a careful history, thorough physical exam, an EKG and comprehensive lab work. We schedule all specialist appointments and diagnostic tests to fit your schedule. We administer flu shots and pneumonia shots and complete medical forms you may need.
Lab work, Specialist Appointments, X-Rays, Scans and Tests
We draw your blood in our office and send it the same day to a laboratory facility recognized by your insurance plan. They bill your insurance directly and your insurance pays the facility. The same with any specialist appointments, scans and tests; they bill your insurance directly and your insurance pays them.
We are your advocate and we can help you negotiate the complicated and confusing healthcare system. We will arrange all referrals, including out-of-town specialists and facilities. We are committed to referring you to the most qualified specialists and academic facilities when necessary.
Our #1 concern is, and always will be, your health and well-being.
We will admit you to the hospital when needed and coordinate your care daily until discharged.
We admit patients only to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. If you are admitted to another hospital, local or out of town, we will contact the hospital and fax all records directly to them to expedite your admission. When you are released, we will resume your care.
On call 24 hours a day.
If you need to reach us after normal office hours, you just call our main office number and our answering service contacts one of us immediately.
Flexible Spending Accounts.
If your employer offers a flexible spending account for health care, we provide an annual invoice at the end of your fiscal year.
Insurance Plans
PPO plans, Medicare and TriCare will work well with our practice. Since we do not participate in any of the insurance networks and are not on their list of physicians, POS and HMO plans are not compatible with our practice model.
All outside services, including specialist visits, tests, scans, and lab processing, are billed directly to your insurance by that facility and reimbursed by your insurance.
